Located at the foot of Higashiyama, it was once connected to the imperial family, and its grounds reflect a refined sense of traditional Japanese beauty. This artwork portrays one of Shōren-in’s great camphor trees spreading its branches over a stone pathway. The bright green leaves catch the sunlight, creating a soft, peaceful glow.
