Château Margaux's second wine, Pavillon Rouge du Château Margaux, produced since 1908, is one of the oldest known second wines. Representing 50% of production, it is made from the very strict selection made for the grand vin as well as from the estate's young vines. Rich and deep, it develops subtle aromas of blackcurrant and vanilla. A superb wine that rivals many classified growths.
