Fantastic quality and imposing carved Carrara marble bust of Medusa. The original Baroque masterpiece The Medusa by Gian Lorenzo Bernini, is in The Musei Capitolini in Rome and is one of their greatest treasures. This 21th century example is also similar to the piece in the Louvre collection ‘Medusa - collection number MR 2127‘ Condition is very good with only a few very small scratches/chips and one of the snakes heads which has been repaired.
