DEGUE & HUBENS A beautiful French 1930 art deco flush mount by Francis Hubens. A well-known manufactory producing bronze and wrought iron lighting fixtures during the interbellum at 68 rue des Archives in Paris. The nickel plated bronze or solid brass mounting holds a Degué bowl model number 544. The ceiling light has a maximum diameter of 41 cm and it is 11,9 cm high. The Degué shade is 35 cm in diameter. The shade is signed Degué and the mount shows the foundry mark FH for Hubens. The flush mount is in very good condition. I re-nickeled and patinated the mount and it is rewired with an American standard socket. For European countries I will place a E27 one. On catawiki my listings have low reserve prices.
