Description
Elegant Roman glass bottle with a rounded globular body and a tall cylindrical neck decorated with three applied horizontal threads.
Blown in pale transparent glass with natural weathering, iridescence and mineral deposits typical of Eastern Mediterranean burials.
This type represents one of the more refined production forms of the Roman Levant, and the triple threading on the neck identifies it as a higher-grade vessel.
