丹波烧酒瓶(Tokkuri)——昭和时期,附原装木箱 - 石器 - Ichino Katsuaki (市野勝晃) - 日本 - 20世纪
This lot features a Japanese Tamba ware sake bottle (徳利 / Tokkuri) made by Ichino Katsuaki (市野勝晃), a noted ceramic artist working in the tradition of 丹波焼 (Tamba-yaki). The piece dates to the Shōwa period (20th century).
The bottle is wheel-thrown in high-fired stoneware, displaying characteristic ash effects, natural glaze flow, and earthy tones typical of Tamba ceramics. The balanced rounded form and subtly flared neck make it suitable both for use and display.
The sake bottle measures approximately 11 cm in height and is accompanied by its original wooden storage box, which bears an inscription confirming the artist and object type. Minor variations in surface texture and color are the result of traditional firing techniques and should be regarded as part of the work’s character.
A fine example of 20th-century Japanese ceramic craftsmanship, appealing to collectors of Japanese pottery, sake vessels, and traditional kiln traditions.
