An extremely rare Irish Silver Chamber Stick, Candle Holder. with removable sconce featuring egg and dart border, conforming with border to base. Handle engraved with family coat of arms. Hallmarked to base with Dublin Marks, date letter X for 1818, Makers marks slightly rubbed, but is probably James Scott. Dimensions: 5.5cm high x 11cm wide including handle approx. Weight: 5.5ozt approx. Very good condition, still some wax in the holder, probably for 200 years ago, the back of the sconce is slightly off centre. Silver is excellent with no breaks or cracks.
