50% merlot 50% cabernet sauvignon, aromas of black & red fruits, hint of spice, notes of forest-floor. Medium-bodied, subtle but complex, with round tannins and medium acidity. Aged for 12 months in used French oak barrels. Bottled at the domaine. Drinking well now and will cellar through 2030. Established in 2011 by Roland Fonteneau, this 2-hectare domaine is in the village of Bages with parcels just next to Château Lynch-Bages.
