The mini-vase is made out of Parian clay, an imitation of the marble from Paros, which is famous for its whiteness and used by Ancient Greeks for their sculptures. The object has been enriched with stains and glazes in 3rd firing. Every single object is unique, cast enriched with stains and polished with diamond pads giving the characteristic smoothness of marble.
