A refined Japanese hanging scroll (kakejiku) by Kimura Buzan (1876–1942), depicting a sparrow perched among grapevines with clusters of ripe fruit and broad leaves rendered in soft, natural tones. The composition balances intimacy and elegance, capturing a quiet seasonal moment with lyrical brushwork. Signed and sealed 'Buzan' (武山), the scroll reflects the artist’s mature style and classical sensibility, offering a graceful example of Meiji–Showa period Nihonga.
