An Art Nouveau bottle vase attributed to Johann Loetz Witwe ( Loetz Glass). Austria - around 1900 A striking early 20th-century iridescent art glass vase, attributed to Loetz, the renowned Bohemian glassworks known for its highly distinctive surface treatments and forms. Though unsigned (which is not uncommon for Loetz pieces) the shape, marbled decor, and rich iridescent finish are strongly indicative of Loetz production, particularly in the Phänomen Genre tradition. The surface is decorated with flowing flame-like pulled trails in hues of amethyst, green, and ivory over a shimmering ground, creating depth and movement. The shape is elegant and sculptural, with a slender flaring neck rising from a rounded, squat body. This is a form typical of Loetz' Jugendstil output circa 1900–1910.
