Imposing walnut statue depicting a seated and crowned Holy Virgin holding the Infant Jesus who sits on her lap. A provincial Spanish statue with a lot of character. Date 17th/18th century. The hands of the Infant are missing as well as one hand of the Virgin and a part of the crown. The massive piece of wood this statue in carved of has some cracks.
