A really aesthetic cluster of squat hexagonal gemmy apatite crystals with a forest green interior, excellent luster, transparency, and crystal definition, which feature the typical ox-eye zonations. This piece comes from the classic Portuguese deposit of Panasqueira, a mine developed to exploit a series of tabular veins of Sn–W mineralization that have produced some of the finest sulfide and fluorapatite specimens in the world and definitely from Europe.
