Forest green apatite floater with siderite and arsenopyrite that was bought at the mine around the late 90s. This piece features sharp apatite crystals with a gemmy zoned interior and excellent glassy luster that can't be compared to what is seen in the average pieces the mine produces nowadays. This piece comes from the classic Portuguese deposit of Panasqueira, a mine developed to exploit a series of tabular veins of Sn–W mineralization that have produced some of the finest sulfide and fluorapatite specimens in the world and definitely from Europe.
