A great little apatite single crystal floater with an excellent surface texture, glassy finish, and a dark green transparent to translucent interior that looks quite mesmerizing in real life. This piece comes from the classic Portuguese deposit of Panasqueira, a mine developed to exploit a series of tabular veins of Sn–W mineralization that have produced some of the finest sulfide and fluorapatite specimens in the world and definitely from Europe.
