Copperplate engraved map with original hand colouring of the borders. Shows the region of Asian Turkey including Turkey, Syria, Lebanon, Israel, Iraq, and more. The map was created by the Englishman Sidney Hall and was first published in 1829. It appeared in Hall's work ‘A New General Atlas’. This copy is from around 1835. The map is characterised by elegant engraving and an ornate keyboard-style frame.
