A patinated bronze trumpet vase of elegant proportions, with a tall flaring mouth rising from a rounded, globular body. The rotund body is flanked by a pair of finely cast dragon heads, each spouting a sinuous stream that develops into scrolling ear handles. The surface shows a rich brown patina with subtle tonal variations. Period: Japan – Meiji period (1868–1912) Dimensions: Height 31.4 cm, Width 32.8 cm, Depth 24.3 cm. Weight 6.8 kg.
