Pedestal singing bowl called also Naga or Shamanic (Italy) are forged in two parts, the bowl and the circular metal band from where you can manipulate the singing bowl (turn it upside down). The bowl it is with a thick rim (a rare model) with a quite bulbous shape, with the midpoint having a larger circumference than the rim and 9 decorative lines around the upper wall. The top of the lip has a faded grooved line. One of the qualities of this type of bowls it the capacity of projecting the sound by holding the circular band. This makes the bowl to use it in different ways and applications, in therapy, artistic performances (influencing other singing bowls or instruments with the sound), in the company of a set of singing bowls or simply enjoying its look and sound. The sound of the bowl has a mellow and meditative pulsation in F4 (336hz) with a faster and energetic tone in A#5 (933hz). Both tones are rim played very easy as you can watch in the link bellow.
