The stamp shows ink spread / ink squeeze affecting the entire design: • background lines appear blurred and thickened, • contours of the figure, shield and inscriptions are broadened, • no clearly separated second parallel frame line is visible, • the effect is uniform across the whole stamp. These characteristics indicate ink spread caused by excessive pressure or excess ink, rather than a classic, clearly separated double print (Doppeldruck).
