Rare stalactite calcite from Leiping Mine, Leiping, Guiyang Co., Chenzhou, Hunan, China. The specimen consists of a group of calcite stalactites in the form of fused tubes forming a complex structure with an orange-red color derived from microcrystalline hematite. The larger tubes are densely covered with calcite microneedles, and there are also acicular calcite aggregates at the base of the stalactites. The matrix is ​​a piece of parent rock, a mudstone saturated with calcite.
