The Ikhoko are the smaller examples of this people’s masks, in wood, bone or in ivory. They are generally made as a token of thanks, when a person who was ill heals. This Eburnean tradition was only discovered within the Central Pende, specifically where the Mbuya masks of the Katundu style were crafted.
