Authentic French Art Deco table lamp, produced in Lunéville (Lorraine, France) circa 1925–1935, a major centre of French decorative glassmaking and wrought iron craftsmanship during the interwar period. The lamp features a refined mottled (clouded) glass shade, in shades of opal white, amber yellow and soft green, with a satin finish and scalloped edges. This type of decorative glass, characterised by subtle colour transitions and controlled light diffusion, is emblematic of the Lunéville school. The shade is signed Muller Frères – Luminaires, one of the most renowned names in French Art Deco glass. The shade is mounted on a hand-forged wrought iron structure, with a hammered black patina. The construction is riveted, with a curved arm and a square architectural base resting on a metal ball, a detail typical of high-quality French ironwork of the period. The quality of the ironwork reflects the excellence of French wrought iron craftsmanship, combining strength, balance and refined proportions.
