A Muller Freres table lamp in brass and pate de verre. The brass work is in very good condition. The height of the lamp can be raised and lowered, total height between 46 and 53cm. E14 screw thread bulb. The tulipe marked Muller Freres has blue, yellow and brown and elsewhere has a flesh colour. It has age related patina, multiple light surface marks from its long history. Under the cap, the collar has a defect from previous over enthusiastic disassembly. Original plug and Bakelite ’pear’ switch have been retained while wiring has been renewed with cloth covered wire.
