Beautiful Chinese porcelain famille rose tea caddy, made in Jingdezhen during the Yongzheng period (1723–1735). The vessel is decorated with a pheasant on a rock, surrounded by flowering branches, including peonies. The silver mounting is a late 19th/early 20th century Dutch addition. Condition: good, with two clean and consolidated hairline cracks (see photographs).
