Indian bronze sculpture of the Hindu deity Krishna, specifically in the form known as Venugopala (Krishna playing the flute).  The figure is depicted standing in a graceful, cross-legged pose known as tribhanga. 
 It is cast in bronze, a common material for such devotional figures. 
The hands are positioned as if holding a flute, which is a characteristic of the Venugopala form, though the actual flute is missing in this sculpture.
