Exceptional specimen of lustrous, red-brown zircon crystals perched on a contrasting matrix. The crystals exhibit sharp terminations and a brilliant yellow fluorescence under UV light, creating a striking display both under daylight and UV conditions. This piece originates from the Haramosh Mountains, Roundu District, Gilgit-Baltistan, Pakistan – a well-known locality for high-quality zircon specimens. An attractive and highly aesthetic addition for any advanced mineral collection. Hard to get that big specimen. Condition as on pictures. Color is very difficult to reproduce in the pictures. Some pictured specimens show slightly different shades that seen with a human eye. Generally in my opinion the colors in reality are slightly prettier.
