This beautiful and rare doll was made in 1898 by Simon§Halbig for the French market. Officially called "Santa", marked S§H 1249 DEP Germany 6". The bisque head is undamaged, not repaired. The original brown eyes are only half closed - see photo. Pierced ears with nice, distinctive earrings. Open mouth with small teeth. Mohair old wig. The original articulated body is in very good condition - only the hands are slightly different, it is not visible at first glance, but the difference is there. The clothes are not original. All the mentioned minor flaws are photographed and mentioned in the description. The beauty measures only 38 cm.
