This is a beautiful upper jaw tooth from the ancient, extinct Southern Mammoth. Not the more common Woolly Mammoth, but a much older and even larger type of Mammoth that roamed Euroasia hundreds of thousands of years ago. Very cool animal, I can strongly advice you to google it to get to know it.
This tooth was found in a gravel mine in the Pest Province, in Hungary, and is between 600.000 - 2,4 million years old.
Scientific name is Mammuthis meridionalis.
Very cool colours and quality.
