Lovely selection of vintage brooches with marcasite. The rectangular one with the red stones has a typical art deco decor with open work and circles. It measures 3.6 x 2.1cm. The back has the old trombone clasp. It is a real period piece from the 1920's. One marcasite is missing but that's hard to see. The other rectangular brooch has a blue oval spinel in the center. The stone measures 0.9 x 0.6cm. The total size of the brooch is 3.5 x 2.3cm. All marcasite is hand set individually; 2 are missing. There is a roll-over clasp at the back. The bow brooch is made of sterling silver. It measures 3 x 2cm. The lizard has hand set marcasite and his back is adorned with green paste. He is 5.6cm long and has a detailed tail and feet. All marcasite is present. It is marked 830 for silver. Please take a good look at the photos for all details. Some marcasite could be missing.
