Artist: Kanson Fujise(1875-1951) Born in Okayama Prefecture in 1914. Studied under Kaneshige Toyo in 1945. Went independent and established the Rokuro Kiln in 1961. 1986 Selected for the "Japanese Traditional Crafts Exhibition" and other events. Died in 2004. Received the Order of the Blue Paulownia Leaf, Seventh Class. During his lifetime, he was known as "Rokuro of the Sake Bottle," as he was a master of sake vessels.
