Artist: Shinkwa Shirosu - Japanese painter. Born in Oita Prefecture. His given name was Tei, his pen name was Kikan, and his pen name was Shinka. He was the fourth son of the Confucian scholar Shirasu Goen. He served in the Ministry of the Navy and in the Naval General Staff during both the Sino-Japanese War and the Russo-Japanese War. He later retired from his official career to pursue painting. He studied under Kai Kozan. He died in 1939. Material: paper Signed and Sealed Roller ends: wooden with tomobako.
