A charming stoneware vase finished with a warm brown slip-glaze, accentuated by dark brown and amber highlights.
Shaped in the form of a loosely criss-cross plaited ikebana basket, the body features an openwork reticulated design that evokes the lightness of woven bamboo. The rectangular mouth is framed by a thick, rope-like rim, and the piece is raised on four low, slightly arched feet.
Underside with a one-character name seal.
