A specimen of chunky rounded arborescent calcite crystals with waxy luster set over a limonitic breccia matrix. The calcite features manganese oxide inclusions that partially color some sections of the calcite a rich dark brown which in this case dominates half of the piece with the other half being ivory white. This material is coming out of an unnamed mine in the Sierra Minera de La Unión, Cartagena, that collectors have dubbed as "La Cuesta" for the steepness of the incline to get out of it.
