Up for sale is a quite rare Yamaha L-41 acoustic guitar, part of Yamaha’s respected vintage L(luxury)-Series, known for excellent craftsmanship and rich, balanced tone, only available for the domestic Japan market. You will not come across this guitar in Europe. The L-41 is the part of the highest quality range within the L-series, those were handcrafted by a single luthier(from beginning to end) from the best domestic available quality selected woods! This guitar delivers a warm low end, clear mids, and articulate highs, making it great for fingerstyle, strumming, or recording. Like many classic Yamaha acoustics, it punches well above its weight in both sound and build quality. Condition: Overall condition: very good Structurally solid Neck is straight and comfortable The guitars has been just refretted with new Jescar FS43080 Nickel-Silver Set Cosmetic wear consistent with a vintage instrument (see photos), the back and sides of the guitars were stripped of top layer and a new shelllac one has been applied and polished till shine. The inequities of the top has been taken care of as well, they were filled if needed and the hole has been polished as well. There is a noticeable crack where the neck joints the body by the sound hole. No structural damage, it has been solidly glued, no effect on feel or pliability.
