Harald Released in 2013, Harald is part of The Warrior Series, a collection of single malts developed especially for Duty-Free to both introduce a significant figure from Orkney's Viking history and demonstrate the significant influence of cask type on the flavor of our whisky. Matured in a combination of sherry-matured American oak casks and European oak casks, Harald is a complex yet finely balanced single malt whisky, with an intense flavor bursting with spicy ginger, sandalwood, sweet sponge cake, and hints of freshly grated nutmeg. 40% | 700ml Highland Park - Svein 1 Liter Svein was the Viking chieftain whose legendary deeds form the heart of the Orkneyinga saga. This bottling is part of Highland Park's Warrior Series. Along with Einar, Harald, Sigurd, Ragnavald, and Thorfinn, it once again honors Highland Park's Norse heritage. The differences between the warriors are reflected in the proportion of European oak sherry casks used in the bottlings. The Highland Park distillery, founded in 1825, is located in the Orkney Islands, north of mainland Scotland.
