The Macallan 15 Years Old Triple Cask Matured, a single malt Scotch whisky. It is part of the Triple Cask Matured line, which involves maturing in a combination of American and European oak barrels aged with sherry and ex-bourbon American oak barrels. The Macallan's Triple Cask Matured series, to which the bottle has belonged for 15 years, was introduced in mid-2018 to replace the previous "Fine Oak" line. Production of the 15-year-old Triple Cask line was subsequently discontinued, as The Macallan focused its offering mainly on the Double Cask series.
