Exceptionally large Javanese Wayang Golek puppet Indonesia, c. 1950 Wayang puppets of this remarkable size are rare, making this a particularly striking and uncommon example of traditional Indonesian puppet art. In good condition for its age, with no significant damage. It is complete with original bamboo sticks attached to the arms and body, and retains its original batik costume. Height: 90 cm !
