日莲大圣人,日莲佛法的创始人,以及三宝尊(三宝) - 木 - 日本 - Taishō period (1912-1926)

This is Nichiren Daishonin, the founder of Nichiren Buddhism 日蓮大聖人, and Sanbōson 三宝尊 (the Three Treasures). This is a professional display, featuring a stupa with the words "Namu Myoho Renge Kyo 南無妙法蓮華経" inscribed in the center, Amida Buddha on the left, and Amida Buddha on the right, as the "Three Treasures," and a statue of Nichiren Shonin in the foreground. It is thought to date from the Meiji to Taisho period, about 100-150 years ago. Nichiren Shonin (1222-1282) was a monk active during the Kamakura period and the founder of the Nichiren sect (Hokke sect). He began training at Seichoji Temple in Chiba Prefecture at the age of 12, and became a monk at the age of 16. At the age of 16, Nichiren developed new teachings that overturned the preconceived ideas of the Buddhist world. He was convinced throughout his life that the Lotus Sutra was the only teaching that could save people, and he dedicated his life to chanting and spreading its essence, "Namu Myoho Renge Kyo (Odaimoku)." In times of chaos, he placed importance on the present world and preached the teaching of "instant enlightenment in this body," which allows anyone to attain Buddhahood. Although initially rejected, his teachings form one of the dominant traditions of Japanese Buddhism today. He overcame numerous persecutions and his teachings have been passed down to the present day. Height: 19.2 cm Width: 13.7 cm Depth: 9.6 cm Weight: 470 g Condition: The three seated statues are glued together. However, because they are old, the adhesive may peel off during transport or over time. In that case, they will need to be reattached with glue. The glass door is difficult to fit; you need to press the bottom right side slightly to fit the glass in. As this is an old and delicate item, there may be scratches, dirt, scuffs, peeling, discoloration, and dents. The shrine also has dirt, scratches, peeling, stains, discoloration, and dents. The metal fittings on the bottom of the left door are broken. See the last photo. Please handle with care. We have posted many photos, so please take a look. Atention: The items listed for sale are all used collectibles. Please consider them to have signs of aging, such as stains, scratches, scuffs, tears, discoloration, fading, fraying, and changes in thread color. We will post as many photos as possible to make it easy to understand. As these are old items, we appreciate your understanding before making a purchase. Shipping: The lot will be carefully packaged and shipped from Japan. We will use either DHL or FedEx for a safe and secure transportation. It usually takes about 2-3 weeks for delivery, and the package will be shipped with a tracking number. Import duties, taxes, VAT, and any other charges are not included in the item price and shipping cost. Please check your country's import duties before bidding. 011823130122
