Vite Lucente Tenuta Luce is produced by Frescobaldi from Merlot grapes mainly (introduced to Montalcino by the Frescobaldi in the 1970s) and Sangiovese from selected vineyards with south-west exposure on the Tenuta located in Castelgiocondo in Montalcino. Winemaking takes place in steel, and aging takes place in partly new and partly used barriques for 12 months. The nose is dominated by fruity notes of red fruits, raspberries and cherry combined with sweet hints of vanilla and slightly balsamic returns. On the palate it is harmonious, velvety with pleasant freshness and round tannins that make drinking very pleasant.
