PMAP13Sa Cast is a lamp with a base composed of interconnected arms joined by a cast-aluminum connector. The top section is made from offcuts and small pieces of PMMA plastic (plexiglas). Each colored piece is polished on its inner surface to better diffuse the light. For me, the result feels closer to a sculpture than a lamp. Each model has its own unique colored “crown.” When preparing these plastic pieces, I select colors to create a palette with endless variations, trying to bring out a rhythm and a distinctive blend of tones, like a painter blending colors and paint. The form and surface of the light sculpture are designed to visually “fade away”, giving it an impression of weightlessness. Its glow creates a soft layer of color, gently shaping the atmosphere: a small, luminous presence in the space. #maneraspain
