This beautiful carboniferous fossil matrix shows beautiful Pecopteris pennaeformis leaf parts! Good quality and contrast! The stone was found by myself in January 2026 in the region of the district Saarland in Germany. Found in rest material that came out of the former coal mines in this region. The fossil is between 309 and 302 million years old.
