We present you a beautiful set of five Tsuchiyu type kokeshi by multiple artists. Tsuchiyu Onsen is a village in the Fukushima prefecture with 17 hot springs and a history spanning over a thousand years. The famous kokeshi type from this village is known for slender bodies with striped patterns in bright colours. The dolls have a rich hue, which adds a warm and inviting aesthetic. They are finished in beatiful patterns. These dolls were fully made by this artist as opposed to later versions that were simply painted by the artist and the dolls themselves was lathe-turned by a family member. These beautiful dolls are all betwern 31 and 22 cm tall and in great shape.
