Chinese famille rose vase with Precious objects and bats – Tongzhi six-character mark, - but later Decorative Chinese famille rose porcelain vase, finely painted with the Eight Precious Symbols (Babao), floral motifs and scholar’s objects in bright enamel colours. The vase is further enriched with applied relief handles and traditional geometric borders. The base bears a six-character Tongzhi mark in iron-red. Based on the palette, decoration and overall quality, this vase dates probably to the early Republic period and was made in the style of the Tongzhi reign. The porcelain body is notably thin and refined, closely resembling the quality and finesse of earlier Qing examples. Condition is very good with no cracks or restorations.
