"Fragments of Light" "Fragments of Light" addresses a contemporary condition marked by uncertainty, disruption, and transformation. The painting unfolds as a fragmented visual field in which luminous color zones emerge from darker, unstable structures. Through layered applications of oil, acrylic, tempera, charcoal, pastel crayon and spray paint, the work reflects a reality in which formerly stable systems—social, political, and emotional—are no longer perceived as secure. There are intended cracks in the surface. #weirdtimes The abstract, dystopian atmosphere is not defined by collapse alone, but by transition. Lines cut through color fields as traces of interruption, while areas of brightness suggest moments of persistence and potential. Rather than offering a fixed narrative, the composition remains open, allowing instability and possibility to coexist. The painting proposes that within fragmentation lies the capacity for reconfiguration—a visual space where new structures may emerge from what has been unsettled. 130 × 100 cm, mixed media on canvas.
