A very elegant Sterling Silver and mother-of-pearl handled fruit set for six people. Having plain straight-sided pointed-end blade knives, and three-prong forks. This handsome silver and mother-of-pearl fruit eating set was made by John Round & Son of Sheffield in 1919/1920. The dimensions of this fine hand-made silver fruit service are length of knife 19 cms , and the length of the fork 15 cm. Total weight: 437 gr. Hallmarks: maker's mark 'JR' in oval, crown, lion and yearletter 'b'. In very good condition. One fork has a mininmal space in between the mother of pearl and the silver.
