Winemaking: From a single plot of very old vines, Vinha da Granja, planted in 1929. A field blend of 34 different grape varieties. The grapes ferment for 10 days in large oak barrels (4 tons) with temperature control and periodic pump-overs. Aged for 18 months in new 225-liter French oak barrels. Grape Varieties: Traditional grape varieties Tasting Notes: Very concentrated and intense, with balsamic notes from the oak well harmonized with figs, black plums and tobacco. Full-bodied, firm and ripe with round and velvety tannins. Mineral, with a complex and persistent finish. Storage and Serving Advice: Store the bottle lying down at a temperature of 15°C. Serve at a temperature of 16°C to 18°C. Food Pairing: This wine pairs well with red meats, roast beef and grilled meats. Allergens: Contains sulfites.
