An endearing statuette showing the young Jesus, with a crown of thorns in his hand, sleeping against a rock. Jesus wears a blueish green tunic with gold coloured details and the letters IHS ('Iesus Hominem Salvator' meaning Jesus Saviour of Mankind). The object is made of gypsum, has been skillfully painted and was likely previously on display in a Catholic church setting. The statuette has nicks on several spots (please see the pictures), but is in an overall good condition. The measurements are 28 by 14,5 by 24 cm.
