Please note that this train comes untested. It was part of a legacy and was used only a handful of times more than 10 years ago. The (original) box is slightly worn because it was moved many times over the years. It contains individual cardboard containers for: 1 LOCOMOTIVE: Car 88, parlour 3rd class, ivory roof 4 COACHES: - Car 89, parlour 3rd, ivory roof - Car 86, parlour 3rd, ivory roof - Doris, 1st, ivory roof - Hazel, 1st ivory roof The box also contains one empty cardboard container, which can be used to carry an extra coach. From the paperwork: "THE BRIGHTON BELLE" "The Brighton Belle became one of the world's best known train services although at the beginning in 1881, the 53 miles (82 kilometers) between London and Brighton seemed an odd location to select the route for the country's first truly luxury train service. Following an inaugural run on the 5th December 1881 a Pullman service from the capital to the south coast offered an upper class drawing room atmosphere in which passengers could relax in restful surroundings (not all that different for many of the parlours of their own homes) and in more spacious compartments."
