花瓶 - 陶瓷 - 日本 - Ice-crack, Banko-wear (没有保留价)

Celadon Vase with Ice-Crack Craquelure Signed, with Original Wooden Box Artist Isao Saiki (born 1952) Banko Ware (Japan), Showa–Heisei period Description This vase is fully covered in a luminous jade-toned celadon glaze. The finely controlled ice-crack craquelure was intentionally created during firing through precise temperature and glaze management. Inspired by Song Dynasty celadon traditions, the crackle pattern creates depth and subtle tonal variation under light. The balanced rounded form serves as both a functional flower vase and a minimalist sculptural object, well suited to contemporary European interiors. Specifications Material: Ceramic with celadon glaze Technique: Crackle celadon (intentional glaze crack pattern) Dimensions: Height 16 cm × Diameter 15 cm Weight: 1,119 g (1,631 g with box) Accessories: Original signed wooden box (tomobako), leaflet, artist seal Condition Excellent. No chips, cracks, or restorations beyond the intentional craquelure. Minor age wear to the wooden box. Authenticity The wooden box and the underside of the vase bear the artist’s signature and seal. Message: This is a rare opportunity to acquire an authentic work of traditional Japanese craftsmanship with clear provenance. With use, the surface will gradually develop greater depth and a natural sheen over time. Notice: Before first use, soak in clean water to reduce absorption of impurities. As unglazed ceramic is porous, prolonged soaking may cause stains, odors, or mold. After use, wash promptly with mild detergent and dry thoroughly before storage. Important Notice: Shipping will be carefully arranged via Japan Post, DHL, or FedEx. Delivery typically takes about three weeks. Import duties, taxes, and fees are not included in the item or shipping price. Combined shipping is not available.
