In so doing, he brings to light the different layers of history piled up beneath the posters, like an archaeologist of the contemporary. A portrait also stands out against this poster background. By inscribing portraits, Vhils aims to bring man back to the heart of the city, to give him back a place he seems to have lost in the face of unbridled urbanization. LAYERS is NFT's first scalable project in which collectors can co-create works of art on the Ethereum blockchain. The artworks will change over time according to individual wishes, with each collector free to "tear" each "layer" as he or she sees fit, although there is a threshold that must not be crossed - three attempts.
